The banquet room in the clubhouse at Patuxent Greens Country Club makes a superb and scenic setting for birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, anniversary celebrations, office and business holiday receptions and special reunions all year-round.
We have a beautiful deck overlooking our 18th green and a lake where you can hold an outdoor event featuring beverages and appetizers, for example. Or serve your guests a sumptuous meal in our ballroom which can set 150.
We can customize a menu to suit you whether you wish buffet-style or want to have sit-down service. Live or recorded music and dancing are also possible for your event.
We are experienced with hosting parties of all kinds and would love to serve you as well. And be sure to consider combining your party with a round of golf on our wonderful course at Patuxent Greens.

Number of guests: For an outdoor wedding we can handle 130 guests; indoors there is space for 150 guests.

Delicious cuisine: The executive chef at Patuxent Greens caters to any taste with a choice of menus from gourmet to casual. Click here for a variety of menus used in connection with banquets and receptions. These menus are recommendations and can be enhanced or modified to meet your specific needs.
Applicable rental fees: Depending on which room you choose, there will be a room rental fee. Included in this fee are complete table settings, ivory linen tablecloths, your choice of available napkin colors, cake-cutting, and other event services. We can also offer your group table-mirrors to help display your centerpieces more elegantly. There may be a minimum expenditure fee based on the day and time you choose for your event. Bar service: By policy, liquor service is available until 12:00 midnight on any evening. All alcohol purchased and consumed on the grounds of Patuxent Greens must be distributed by Patuxent Greens service staff. Under no circumstance can outside alcohol
be brought onto the property.
Dancing: We have a portable 18-foot by-15-foot dance floor available for use in our main banquet room. Our dining room has a built–in dance floor that is available for your group at no charge with the rental of the dining room.
Deposits and reservations: All reservations are considered tentative until a deposit and a signed copy of the banquet reservation agreement have been received and accepted. Deposits are non-refundable should the event be canceled. A date can be held for a brief period of time as determined by the catering director while a decision is reached.
Decorations: Banquet guests can decorate our banquet rooms provided that the decorations present no safety risk and are approved by the food and beverage director. The banquet host will be responsible for any damages, which occur as a result of decorating our banquet rooms.
Music: Bands and DJs are permitted and must be set up one hour before the event. No outside guests of the band are permitted, and any food and beverage service for the band or DJ must be accounted for in your final guest count guarantee. We ask that music not continue past 11:30 pm to ensure all guests can safely depart by 12:00 p.m., as is our policy.
